Notifications Manager

The Notifications module needs to be enabled within Edit Application Settings and relevant service and log-in details populated in order to use the below features.

The notifications functionality within ProScript Connect allows users to notify a patient (via SMS or email) that their prescription is ready for collection, for example, or that they are due for a flu jab. These notifications can be sent to patients manually or when prompted at the end of dispensing.

Enabling SMS and/or Email for a Patient

Activating SMS and/or email takes place at a patient level, and requires ensuring that the patient has a valid mobile number saved, and SMS enabled and/or email address saved with email enabled, within their Patient Details Form. This criteria must be met before you can send a text message or email to a patient.
