Pharmacy First

 The Pharmacy First service enables eligible patients to use a community pharmacy as their first contact for the treatment of common illnesses on the NHS.

You can access ePharmacy from the ProScript Connect Main Screen by clicking the PSC_epharmacybutton button or pressing [Ctrl+E].

Pharmacy First data is tagged with a CPS Service Type tag, and a Minor Ailments Service Service listing. You can amend the Filters within ePharmacy Manager to display only MAS prescriptions by selecting the CPS radio button and MAS from the Service drop-down menu.

Processing Pharmacy First Services

A patient who is deemed eligible can be supplied medication under Pharmacy First. You can also carry out and electronically claim for consultations and GP referrals under Pharmacy First as well as for patients with a Urinary Tract Infection or Impetigo.
