Real Time Exemption Checking (RTEC)

We will be enabling the RTEC functionality in ProScript Connect over the coming weeks, however, it is important for contractors to ensure that they have agreed to the terms of the RTEC user agreement prior to using the functionality.

Real Time Exemption Checking (RTEC) enables you to digitally check whether patients are eligible for free prescriptions, based on their exemption status. Only prescriptions for patients with maternity, medical, pre-payment, HC2 charges certificate and NHS Tax Credit exemptions can currently be checked.
