Please note there has been a change on NHSBSA dm+d browser for the listing of Colecalciferol 1,000units/ml oral drops sugar free. The concept for 1,000units/ml strength has been discontinued and replaced by Colecalciferol 1,000units/drop oral drops sugar free.
There will no longer be an option to select 1,000units/ml strength from the ‘Select prescribed item’ screen on ProScript Connect and for electronic prescriptions the product will not be automatically mapped.
If a prescription is issued using the discontinued concept 1,000units/ml, please confirm the intended strength with prescriber as the only available products are 1,000units/drop. You may need to request a paper prescription until the new concept is added to prescribing systems.
