This functionality is only available to customers using the Electronic Prescription Service in England and Wales.
Once the ScriptCheck functionality has been activated by the Service Desk for your pharmacy, the following settings in Application Settings can be made according to your pharmacy requirements.

Application settings
- To access the Edit Applications Settings, from the ProScript Connect main screen, click ProScript Connect, select Edit Application Settings, then click ScriptCheck.
- Highlight the application setting until it turns blue, then select the downward arrow , select All machines. This applies the setting to all machines in the pharmacy.
- Change the settings according to your pharmacy requirements, using the following table as a guide.
ScriptCheck Setting Setting value/Description
(These are the default values)Dispense at Branch: ScriptCheck by Default The default is No. Set to Yes, and ScriptCheck is used as the default dispensing method for all stock items.
Controlled Drugs Allowed for ScriptCheck The default, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, allows the selected Controlled Drugs schedule 1-5 to be dispensed via ScriptCheck. Fridge Lines Allowed for ScriptCheck The default is Yes. Allows Fridge lines to be dispensed via ScriptCheck. Allow Robot Lines to ScriptCheck The default is No. Allows items kept in Robot to be dispensed via ScriptCheck. If set to Prompt, the user is prompted to choose. ScriptCheck Split Packs The default is Yes. Allows split packs to be dispensed via ScriptCheck. Reprint label for ScriptCheck items on Edit The default is No. Allows you to reprint the label after editing the prescription. ScriptCheck Manual Complete Labels This setting determines what labels are printed for Manual Complete – All or PTS. Select to print from all machines or this machine, then select the appropriate label option.
ScriptCheck Dispense Now Labels This setting determines what labels are printed for Dispense Now – All or PTS. Select to print from all machines or this machine, then select the appropriate label option.
- Once you have finished with your changes, click F10 – Save.
