- The number of claimable Interventions and Follow Ups completed
- Interventions or Follow Ups that were completed outside of ProScript Connect that have been manually added to the calculator
- The number of payable Interventions and Follow Ups completed
- Your monthly prescription count

The updated Payment Calculator was introduced with ProScript Connect v1.31.0 in line with the changes to the NMS payment structure and fees. Previously, pharmacies were only paid on completion of the Follow Up stage. Pharmacies will now be paid separate fees for the completion of the Intervention and Follow Up stages.
If you are still on a version below ProScript Connect v1.31.0, we have provided steps on how to get the completion figures from your current system.
- From the ProScript Connect Main Screen, click ProScript Connect, then select NMS Manager.
For the current month, you can view a real-time summary of pending Engagements, Interventions and Follow Ups; the number of prescription items and your current total of claimable Interventions and Follow Ups. - To display the Payment Calculator, from the General tab, click F6 – Payment Calculator. The Payment Calculator screen for the current month is displayed.
- On the Payment Calculator:
- For Interventions (external/paper) and Follow Ups (external paper) that were completed in this month, enter the figures in the appropriate boxes, then click Save. Note, all other boxes are automatically calculated entries and can’t be edited.
- To view previous months, use the arrow to the left of the date field.
- A table detailing the combined maximum total of Interventions and Follow Ups completed per month for the NMS payment to apply against the number of prescriptions per month. For example, if the pharmacy had done between 0 – 1500 prescription items per month, then their cap total would be 20 combined Interventions and Follow Ups.
The new payment guidelines are only reflected in entries back to April 2025, when these NMS changes were implemented.
