Robot Manager Frequently asked questions

First check that the Robot Manager connection indicator is green. Then, do the following to refresh the data:
  1. Close and reopen Robot Manager.
  2. Switch to another tab and return to the Robot Stock tab in Robot Manager.
  3. Run a Bulk Stock Request.
  4. Close and reopen the PMR.

The dispensed drug pack barcode has been incorrectly mapped, so firstly empty the incorrect packs from the robot – the 50mg pack.
  1. From Robot Manager go to the Map Robot Items tab and search for the barcode on the wrongly picked pack – the Sertraline 50mg pack.
  2. Click F6 – Change and re-map the barcode to the product identifier – the Sertraline 100 mg pack.
  3. Next, restock the packs into the robot and they will re-map to the corrected product identifier.

First check that the Robot Manager connection indicator is green. If the indicator is red, reboot ProScript and/or the robot.
Next, check that there is stock in the robot.
When dispensing, look at the Stock Card Record data in ProScript Connect and check that there is stock of the item that has been selected on the Product Choice screen. The By Family filter shows all stock for the selected pack size. You may need to amend your product choice if alternative pack sizes are available.
Check the item has been mapped correctly.

The choice must be made from within ProScript Connect before completing the script. Click F3 – Product Choice whilst an item is highlighted in the PMR. You can change pack size or switch to the brand if required.

Dispensing robots are configured to supply packs at VMPP (Virtual Medicinal Product Pack) level, which means only drugs in the family of the same pack size are included in the choice for output. For example, if there is no Metformin 100 mg pack size 84 in the robot, and this pack size is the product chosen in ProScript Connect, but there are Metformin 100 mg packs size 28 in the robot, it will not switch automatically.
