Stage 1: eMAS Patient Registrations

The first stage in the process is to register the patient to eMAS. Patient registration can take up to 72 hours to be picked up by ePharmacy, which is why you can manually update a registration status to dispense eMAS prescriptions, until such time it is picked up in the background.

Stage 2: eMAS Prescriptions

The second stage in the process is to dispense eMAS prescriptions. Claims are automatically sent after endorsing. In some cases, you may also want to refer the patient back to a consultant or GP, in which case you will be able to send a consultation or GP referral message.
